Built for the loading dock, not the boardroom.
Event production software for agencies running multiple builds, multiple sites and multiple vendors. Every element, every zone, every vendor and every crew member on one live record — so the brief that reaches site is the brief you sent.
Powered by Zone Architecture. Patent pending.
WHAT ZONE ARCHITECTURE IS
Every event space resolves to the same zones.
A ballroom, a warehouse, a marquee in a paddock. They look nothing alike, and structurally they're identical — the same set of zones doing the same jobs in a different arrangement.
Protée OS turns the physical space into a structured data model against that taxonomy. Map the space once, allocate your elements to zones, and everything downstream builds off that structure: the scope of works, the vendor briefs, the runsheet, the risk assessment.
That's the part that's patent pending. Australian provisional application 2026906257.
THE PROBLEM
80% of what reaches a vendor is wrong.
That isn't a guess. It's six weeks of briefs measured coming into a vendor's inbox — wrong times, wrong access, wrong measurements, wrong counts.
Nobody is being careless. A brief passes through four hands before it gets to the person who has to act on it, and every hand is a chance for the truth to change shape. The person sending it can't know it's wrong. The person receiving it can't check.
Protée OS removes the places where the truth can fork.
THE PRODUCTION ENGINE
Control the site before you get to it.
Zone Architecture
Map the zones and you control what happens where, who does it, and when. Your scope of works builds itself from that map, multiple vendors stop colliding, and everyone on site — your crew, the venue’s staff, contractors you’ve never met — knows where they’re meant to be.
Floor Plan Visualiser
Upload a CAD drawing or a sketch on paper and drag your zone pins onto it. Your vendors see exactly where they’re working without you redrawing anything. Your site team gets a layout they can read in seconds.
Auto Scope of Works
Read-only, generated entirely from your build. Every element, who’s responsible for it, and once the quote is confirmed, the price against it. One screen tells you what’s locked and what isn’t, for install and dismantle.
VENDORS AND CREW
Send the brief once. Send it right.
Vendor Sourcing and Allocation
Search any city for AV, styling, florists, catering. Assign the elements you want quoted and send the brief with one button — floor plan, moodboard images, dates, times and zone go with it, with nothing typed by you. Verified vendors carry an ABN check, a BSB verification and insurance on file.
Quote Hub
Every quote lands beside the brief you sent, side by side. You asked for 200 white Ghost chairs with no arms; the quote is for 200 armed Ghost chairs. You see it before it becomes a problem at 6am.
Crew Management
Build your team once — staff, contractors, casuals — and it’s there for every event on the account. Assign to a phase, finalise the shift, generate a payroll report for accounts. Each crew member has their own portal for availability, licences and permits, and can see their upcoming shifts.
Team Dashboard
Every event on the account, one view
The Team Dashboard shows every event your agency is running, where it is, and who owns it. Everyone can see. Only the owner edits. Scale the number of events without scaling the confusion.
Risk Assessment
Risk that’s owned, not filed
Your elements populate your risk assessment automatically. Add the initial risks, set likelihood, choose a control measure, log the residual risk, share it with whoever needs it. It doesn’t remove the risk — it makes it documented and owned.
Document Management
Documents once, not every time
Public liability and workers comp uploaded once, available on every event, sent to the venue with one button. The venue contract stored, extracted to Treasury, and where you can find it at 5am.
This wasn't built by a software company.
It was built by someone who spent 23 years in production — venue operations, AV, event security, General Manager of an event hire company — and who kept a wall of A4 sheets and a job sheet of printed emails because nothing else held the truth.
AI reads the image and compares the quote. The logic is human, and it came from the dock.
